Vivian dies again, C.E Hulse

If you enjoyed watching Russian Doll, Happy Death's day or Groundhog Day then you will definitely love Vivian dies again.

May I introduce Viv, a sarcastic women of 36 years old with a chaotic lifestyle and the family's black sheep. She attends to a family gathering, supposing to honore her late uncle and aunt, dead a year ago. Not well welcomed at this commemoration, she discovers how much a person hates her : at the point to getting killed by a member of the reunion. Again. And again. Did I say Again already ?
She is condemned to relive the day of her death several times. Her only hope to survive comes with a waiter deprived of sleep and also stuck in the time loops.
Together, they'll need to solve Viv's murder and find out her killer's motive.
However during this investigation, Viv will discover a secret that should have been left burried.

This story is definitely my favorite of this month. It's not only a "solving your own murder" story but also a story of " I have to face my problems and evolve". It's at the same time an hilarous and a inspiring novel.

At every time loops, you get to know better Viv's complex character and follow her evolution.
I really enjoyed the written style of the author, the plot structure and the characters' development.

I highly recommend this novel to anyone who wants to spend a good time with a story that blends murder/mystery case, time travel and introspective quest.
